Blue to evoke the coat of arms of the Field Marshal Edouard Mortier, Duke of Treviso, born in le Cateau in 1768.
This soldier, statesman and peer of France participated in many battles and left behind him the reputation of a modest, loyal and honest man who saved at the cost of his life that of his monarch Louis-Philippe.
